It is with sadness that the AAVA informs you of the death of Etienne Grenapin, a member of the AAVA for many years.

‘I'm standing by the beach. A sailboat passes in the morning breeze and heads out into the ocean. It is beauty. It is life. I watch it until it disappears over the horizon.

Someone beside me says, ‘It's gone!’ Gone? Gone where? Away from my eyes, that's all!
