Our club fleet

Our club fleet

To enable each member to use equipment adapted to his or her needs, AAVA has one of the finest fleets of machines in France, comprising 18 gliders, 3 airplanes and 1 microlight.

For beginner training

To enable its members to start gliding in the best possible conditions, AAVA offers its members the following machines:

1 SF25 90CV F-CHCR

Used for initial and campaign training as well as TMG qualifications

2 ASK 21 (F-CJEM/D-6709)

The ASK 21 is the successor to the ASK 13. Constructed entirely from composite materials, it is now the benchmark tandem school glider. It is also certified for aerobatics. It's the first “plastic” glider on which our students have the pleasure of flying.

1 ASK 23 F-CPVD

A single-seater similar to the K21, the K23 will be the first single-seater on which a youngster can fly on his own.

1 Grob Twin 1 (F-CPVI)

Plastic two-seater used by students and also dedicated to discovery flights.

For advanced training

The AAVA has a particularly homogeneous fleet of machines to enable its members to practice their passion, but also to accompany them in their progress.

3 Duo-Discus: F-CMEI / F-CPVC / D-6122

The duo-discus is the ideal glider for gliding. Its characteristics (pleasant to control, easy to handle, performance, comfort...) make it the ideal machine for clubs. At Vinon, we're lucky enough to be able to make 3 of them available to our members.

1 Pégase F-CHGH (aneg)

The Pegasus is the most popular single-seater in French clubs, with no fewer than 400 gliders in operation.

4 LS4 : F-CFMF/D-8973/FCPVE/FCPVF

The LS4 is the most widely produced glider in the world, with no fewer than 1000 models produced. These 4 gliders are extremely comfortable and pleasant to fly, making them suitable for all pilots.

For performance

The AAVA has a particularly homogeneous fleet of machines to enable its members to practice their passion, but also particularly adapted to accompany them in their progress and attract performances enabling them to take part in numerous competitions and championships in France and around the world.

1 LS8/18 : F-CPVA

Like the LS4, but with greater performance, the LS8/18 is a comfortable glider that's a pleasure to fly.

1 Ventus 2c 18m : F-CIGG

The club's flagship for single-seaters. 18m wingspan. Curvaceous flaps, combining finesse and performance, delight the members of the association. Its success is undeniable, making it the most popular single-seater in our association.

1 LS6 18W : D-8817

A high-performance machine which, thanks to its curved flaps, enables pilots to achieve high-performance flights with a very pleasant ride.

1 JS1 : F-CPAH (Airbus helicopter)

The JS1 is a modern single-seater of very recent design, combining comfort, performance and maneuverability. It belongs to the Airbus Helicopter gliding section, which makes it available to members of the association. Many thanks to them!

1 ARCUS : F-CZCX (Airbus helicopter)

The Arcus is a modern two-seater of very recent design, combining comfort, performance and maneuverability. It also belongs to the Airbus Helicopter gliding section, which makes it available to members of the association. Many thanks to them!

1 ASH 25 : F-CGKT

The flagship of our association, with its 25-meter wingspan. This finesse glider will enable you to make long flights to Switzerland or even central France. A few years ago, Gérard Herbaud and Geneviève Berger flew from Vinon to Gien and back, covering over 1000km in a single day.
