On 17 July 1967, Michel Moutte, a member of the AAVA, lost his life at the controls of the M100S F-CCPH he was piloting on take-off from Vinon on runway 28, in a triple tow.
Michel Moutte was the club's young hope.
He was taking part in a 300 km event.
