Dear Members,

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Michel Charpentier.

Michel was an experienced glider pilot and an expert in meteorology, which was his profession.

During the forty or so years that he was a member of our association, he gave us the benefit of his expertise in the meteorological field, in particular providing the CMVVM's daily weather forecast. He also created and maintained a website dedicated to flight forecasts.

We send our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
