This operation has been set up to introduce women to gliding, a sport that is still too under-represented in the aviation world.

Only 13% of French glider pilots are women!

Although the figures have been rising over the last few years, glider flying is looking to become more feminine.

During the ‘Ça plane pour elles’ operation, the AAVA is offering discovery flights for women, but it is also possible to come accompanied to have a good time with friends and family and share your experiences.
